The customer experience provided by the owner makes this a must stop for any romance book lover. The shelves are covered in indie titles and mainstream and are organized in an actual practical way, being organized by romance niche, making new titles easy to find as they are next to ones you already love.My personal experience was made extra delightful as the owner had one signed copy of the book i was getting and made sure I got it instead of a plain. No extra charge, just an extra treat on top of a good book!I was incredibly happy with my time here and this will be a must stop for me everytime I'm in the city.

A wonderful addition to the neighbourhood. Their selection has a sizeable number of books with queer characters (inc MLM, WLW and NB). The owners are so kind, and love helping you find your next fun read.

This bookstore just opened and it's such a quaint little local bookstore that I'm excited to visit more and more for my romance fix. The owners, Nicola and Shannon, are so friendly and inviting. I feel like we can expect great things from this up and coming store, and I wish them great success.

From the cutest origin story to a passion for the books on their shelves, Slow Burn has made a niche for itself in Marda Loop. Building raport with patrons, collaborating with their neighbours and celebrating each step, the sisters have made their dream a reality in this charming little bookshop. Don't be fooled by the shop's modest size, for it packs a punch in the books it houses.

Amazing! This store has every book that a romance reader could ever want. I was so impressed by their selection of both indie and mainstream authors and by how wide their selection of different types of romance books and accessories is. The owners are also so sweet and they gave me some great book recommendations! Every romance lover needs to come here! I will definitely be coming back for more books and probablyyy some accessories

Stoped in during the night market! Had the best time. Shop was so well organized, had a great selection of books as while as stickers, book marks, etc. Owner was incredibly nice and seemed genuinely interested in everyone’s purchase and wanting to help people find the best books for them. Will definitely be back.
